Welcome to Dutjahn’s new website and brand identity.
We have taken some time to evolve how we look and talk, so that all our interactions authentically express our dedication to quality and ethics.
A key inspiration for the new visual identity came from being 50% Indigenous owned. This heritage is unique to Dutjahn Sandlawood Oils, it makes us different. This proud point of difference is then, in turn, infused into our customers’ brands.
The Dutjahn ‘D’ is the emblem that represents our company and our philosophy in business and in life. The ‘D’ suggests the concentric ‘growth’ rings from the cross-section of a tree trunk. It is also inspired by the crescent ‘U’ shaped symbol for ‘man’ and ‘woman’ which can be found in many Aboriginal paintings. The ‘people’ here have come together to work in collaboration.
The combination of inspirational photography, simple patterns and woodprints alongside a considered colour palette and emotive typefaces, results in an identity with the scope and flexibility to consistently and creatively communicate our unique positioning to you, our customers.
